Our Client, a global Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP), is actively seeking a Business Development Associate.  You will be part of a dedicated team, providing tactical support across the global BD efforts, delivering top-notch customer service, and contributing to dynamic business development processes. Your role will involve supporting client pitches, public speaking, client and market events, integrated marketing functions, and more, all aimed at fostering our business's expansion and momentum.  This is an excellent role for candidates with law firm or professional services experience. 
 
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Proactively keep abreast of company resources, contacts, and subject matter experts to provide alternative solutions when a request cannot be fulfilled via the designated Business Development team or can be fulfilled more efficiently through an alternative resource

 

- Managing CRM tracking, activity entries, opportunities, target updates, and assigned service requests - learning client-specific tools and applications as necessary to perform specific research or other related job duties

 

- Provide direct support as a Growth Caddy to up to three Business Development team leaders by administering a variety of essential services, including:

            - Editing biographies and managing CRM updates, including data entry and research

            - Conducting client and competitor analysis and research

            - Assisting in organizing client seminars and events

            - Supporting marketing tasks, such as updating presentations, pitch documents, newsletters, and directory submissions

            - Handling expense and invoice reporting, as well as document conversion and formatting

            - Offering daily support to enhance initiatives like client pitches, public speaking events, and market or conference participation

Qualifications

 

- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or JD is a plus 

 

- A minimum of 3 (three) years of professional services or law firm experience
