The Business Development Manager supports the overall business development and marketing efforts of the Firm by helping to create and execute strategic and tactical business development and marketing activities related to the global Securities & Capital Markets Group, along with additional practice groups and projects within the Business Development Department or Firm as assigned.


Core Responsibilities:


Develop strategic business development and marketing plans; Draft and prepare written proposals, pitches, and other communications to clients, prospective clients, and related third party organizations; Source and disseminate market intelligence to partners – related to the practice, industries and key clients; Collaborate with the global business development team on the identification and pursuit of cross-selling initiatives; Lead practice-level key client teams and work with the Clients & Industries team on best practice and to ensure the identification, development, and growth of high-value services to our key clients; Help practice group leaders manage relevant business development budgets.




Bachelors Degree with at least seven (7) years of marketing & business development experience and five (5) years in a large law firm environment. Experience supporting a Capital Markets practice strongly preferred.
