The Business Development Manager will help support the firm’s Corporate department. This role will be responsible for helping support the firm’s market growth strategy and commitment to client service. The Business Development Manager will develop a comprehensive understanding of the lawyers and clients in New York in order to drive strategic priorities, including client engagement and relationship building.
This position will play an invaluable role in driving the strategic objectives of the firm’s practices, markets, and relevant industry sectors. The BDM will be responsible for coordinating research, analysis and reporting to identify new clients and develop existing relationships. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage the firm's alumni network and drive revenue. The role will also support the implementation of business development tactics, aid in executing cross-selling strategies, and coordinate the research of markets and competition.
Additionally, the BDM will collaborate with lawyers and teams on speaking opportunities, seminars, sponsorships, and other visibility initiatives, and assist with creating written marketing materials, website content, and legal directory submissions.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of seven (7) years of business development experience. Previous legal industry experience with knowledge of M&A, Private Equity, and/or Capital Markets.
