In this role, the Business Development Manager will support the Environmental and Energy practice groups. The BD manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients. The BD Manager reports to the Business Development Director.


Some of the responsibilities include:


Developing high-quality, tailored pitch materials and responses to RFPs with meaningful ideas and creativity to shape strategic pursuits. Developing and implementing cross-sell opportunities and industry-focused strategies. Developing and maintaining collaborative internal relationships and communicating effectively with Environmental and Energy attorneys and other BD/Marketing and Client Experience team members to build new client relationships and support the growth of the practices. Working with the senior business development manager/director and practice leadership to develop and track annual business plans and budgets. Working with firm lawyers to develop individual practice plans and support key initiatives.




Strong business development credentials, including business planning, research, RFPs and pitches, and client development strategies. Demonstrated knowledge of CRM systems and experience in management databases a plus. 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably with a law firm or professional services. Bachelor’s degree required.
