A consulting firm is actively seeking an experienced eDiscovery professional that is primarily focused on business development, and who will also play a key role in supporting the practice. Candidates need to have a complete understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle. This is a unique opportunity for an eDiscovery practitioner who wants to move into a business development position, and still be engaged throughout the entire project.
Job description & Qualifications:
Leverage existing relationships and develop new ones with the law firms and corporate legal departments.
Educate clients and prospects regarding the full range of services.
Increase revenue on current engagements by identifying opportunities to cross sell services.
Develop and maintain a list of prospects/clients.
Track all relationships and opportunities using the CRM.
Attend and participate in industry conferences and client events.
Support and advise on projects from inception through completion including collections, processing, review and production.
Assist in the management of finances of each engagement including developing, documenting, and tracking project budgets, adjusting budgets as appropriate, communicating changes in budgets internally and to the client, and managing the revenue forecasting and invoicing process.
Review and discuss expectations, anticipated scope of work, and project timeline with client and internal teams.
Provide regular status updates and reports throughout the engagement.
Generate consistent and thorough documentation to support processes executed throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor, lead, and delegate tasks to junior colleagues.
6 or more years of experience as a business development preferred.
