The Director of Client Legal Operations will lead a multidisciplinary team to enhance client service and apply project management best practices for some of the firm’s largest clients. The role requires a proven leader experienced in managing high-performing teams, including Legal Project Managers, and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team to strengthen strategic client relationships and deploy firm resources effectively. Serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams—Pricing, Marketing, Accounting, IT, eDiscovery—to ensure consistent implementation of client strategy. Partner with Relationship Managers and Marketing to align on client objectives, track deliverables, and demonstrate value. Oversee pricing and project management initiatives to improve financial performance and client outcomes. Manage interdepartmental collaboration, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to best practices. Maintain strict confidentiality and professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Proven experience leading legal operations or interdisciplinary teams for major institutional clients. Strong understanding of global legal markets and client relationship management. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with CRM tools; PMP, MBA, or JD preferred.
