A leading legal services provider is seeking a Managing Director to join their sales team. In this role the managing director will help ensure the long-term success of our clients. The Managing Director will focus on consulting and supporting senior legal leaders on transformational initiatives, including technology enablement, spend reduction, contracts management, and organizational design.  This role will also provide support as a subject matter expert for account directors. This is a client-facing role and a successful candidate will have experience with contacts who serve in senior roles in legal, compliance, privacy and information technology functions within an enterprise.


Responsibilities: 

 

  • Identify sales targets with the sales team, lead C-level,  and senior management.
  • Drive and grow the sales cycle.
  • Leverage current and future professional networks to identify opportunities beyond current clients.
  • Demonstrate a high acumen regarding the company’s services and technology-enabled offerings. 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and channel partner relationships.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Act as the conduit between client stakeholders.
  • Promote practice offerings and technology products to industry workgroups, conferences and publications.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of C-level and senior executive-level consultative sales experience with 5+ years of account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • JD degree preferred.
