The Senior Business Development Manager will develop and execute the business development strategy for the North America Tax Practice Group to drive growth and strengthen client relationships. Working closely with the Practice Group Chair, leadership, partners, and business management, the role supports strategic planning, execution, and performance tracking aligned with broader North America objectives.
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business and cross-selling opportunities; supporting partner and client team business development planning; and managing marketing and business development materials, including practice descriptions, capability statements, and website content. The role also oversees client relationship initiatives, profile-raising activities, client alerts and thought leadership, events and campaigns, and directory submissions, including coordination with publications. Additional responsibilities include pitch and proposal support, media coordination, brand management, and budget oversight to ensure strong return on investment.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in business development or marketing within a professional services environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, collaborative, and capable of managing competing priorities in a matrixed, multi-time-zone organization, with strong communication, judgment, and leadership skills.
The hybrid schedule is three days in office per week.
Salary range is $175,000-$210,000
