POSITION OVERVIEW: A leading eDiscovery company is looking for an experienced Technical Writer with strong communication skills that will be responsible for coordinating and managing RFIs, RFPs, ITQs, vendor questionnaires, surveys and proposals.
Organizes and leads the company’s efforts with RFIs, RFPs, ITQs, vendor questionnaires, and surveys
Manage the successful development of compliant, competitive, cogent, and compelling responses through effective collaboration across teams that include internal staff and outside partners
Apply experience and best practices in team management to ensure the timely delivery of submissions that are compliant with solicitation instructions.
Coordinate SMEs' feedback and content ownership in our response knowledge bank
Collaborate closely with all departments across the organization including InfoSec, Client Services, Operations, HR, Development and integrated partners
Update and control content through our management software
Oversee the selective distribution of our confidential security documentation
Create and implement processes and efficiencies in the RFP and InfoSec Audit workspace
Tailor responses specific to our prospects' and clients' needs
Update and control content through our management software
Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future proposals
Manages deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing status information to review meetings; transmission.
Improves writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes.
Assists in special projects for Quality Assurance, Business Development and Marketing
Collaborates with management to develop strategy, identify potential areas of improvement, solutions and themes that support the win strategy
Formats document to meet company guidelines and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to interpret/relay technical information to all levels of technical aptitude, including senior management. This includes written and oral communications
Documentation skills are a must. Ability to articulate, write and present information in a clear and understandable manner and to meet the re-performance standard required for supporting our audit work
Strong time management, project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully within a deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and assimilate business processes
Demonstrated integrity, maturity, dependability, and a strong work ethic within a professional environment
Experience & knowledge in, sales, marketing, advertising and land surveying brand management
Ability to work under strict deadline pressure and work calmly under pressure, individually or in a team environment and handle multiple work assignments
Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate critical thinking and make situation appropriate decisions using sound judgment
High level of Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), and Adobe tools
Experience editing professional, business writing and editing skills
Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly organize, prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to grow and develop personal skills as well as conduct independent research
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years writing experience
Must have a proven record of RFP/RFQ/InfoSec analysis to prepare a response
