Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an experienced AI Attorney to join its dynamic Innovation team. The AI Attorney will translate legal workflows into scalable AI solutions, combining strategic advisory with technical expertise. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a credible, authoritative advisor to legal teams on AI workflow integration and strategy, identifying opportunities for AI to enhance legal tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with attorneys to document current workflows, pinpoint areas for automation or improvement, and develop scope specifications to support AI implementation or enhancement.
- Lead end-to-end AI legal workflow development, including designing prompts, testing, and iterative refinement to ensure high-quality outputs aligned with firm standards.
- Partner with engineers and technical teams to mature AI workflows, translating legal requirements into technical specifications while gaining deeper technical fluency.
- Contribute to a scalable AI workflow playbook by codifying best practices, templates, and implementation guidelines, and deliver training to legal professionals to ensure effective adoption.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is preferred; alternatively, candidates with 5+ years of experience leading innovation initiatives, AI adoption, or legal technology projects at a large law firm or legal services company will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience with legal AI platforms and hands-on prompt engineering, workflow development, and testing.
- Strong understanding of generative AI/large language models, their capabilities, and limitations within a legal context.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
