Description


The Business Development Manager will support the Banking, Finance, and Bankruptcy practice by developing and executing strategic business development and client development initiatives that drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the practice's market profile. This hands-on role partners closely with practice leadership to implement business development strategies, identify cross-selling opportunities, support key client relationships, and develop pitches, proposals, directory submissions, and marketing materials. Responsibilities include client and market research, relationship mapping, business planning, coordinating sponsorships and client events, tracking rankings and awards, supporting lateral partner integration, and collaborating with colleagues across North America to execute the firm's transactional business development strategy.

 

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, along with strong business development or marketing experience in a law firm or other professional services environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong commercial awareness, exceptional project management and organizational abilities, and proven experience building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Candidates should be self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, CRM and web-based platforms, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver exceptional client service are essential. Flexibility to travel for meetings and events is required.

 

Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite

 

Salary range: $153,000 – $164,000
