The Business Development Manager will support growth initiatives across Texas by partnering with attorneys and firm leadership to drive client development, strategic planning, and market visibility efforts. This role serves as a trusted advisor to lawyers, helping identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and execute strategic business development plans.
Responsibilities include conducting market, client, and competitive research; supporting attorney business development activities; assisting with partner integration and development initiatives; and collaborating on cross-selling efforts across practices and offices.
The Manager also works closely with marketing and communications teams to coordinate events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, webinars, directory submissions, and marketing materials that enhance the firm's profile and support growth objectives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have business development or marketing experience within a law firm or professional services environment, along with a strong understanding of client development, account management, and sales principles. Success in this role requires excellent communication, project management, analytical, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Salary range: $150,000-$170,000
