The Business Development Manager will support the Corporate and Financial Institutions practices, partnering closely with practice leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives. This role focuses on executing business development plans, managing client pitches and RFPs, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and increase revenue.
The position also serves as a primary liaison to attorneys, supporting client development strategies, preparing for meetings, analyzing market opportunities, and monitoring industry trends to identify new leads. The Manager will support cross-practice initiatives, maintain key client relationships, and assist with lateral integration.
In addition, the role plays a key part in marketing execution, including managing events, overseeing rankings and award submissions, maintaining marketing collateral, and supporting digital campaigns and external communications. The Manager may also contribute to training junior team members and advising lawyers on business development best practices.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, proactive professional with strong communication and project management skills and experience advising senior stakeholders. Candidates should have at least three years of business development or marketing experience in professional services and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
