Description


The firm seeks a motivated and creative business development professional to lead BD efforts for the Structured Credit, Restructuring, Capital Markets, and Fund Finance practices in the New York office. This role partners closely with attorneys across global offices to develop, plan, and implement marketing and client strategies that support practice and firm-wide priorities.

 

The Global Finance Group advises on a broad range of debt market transactions, including leveraged lending, fund finance, corporate finance, restructurings, structured products, and specialty financings.

 

The Business Development Manager drives growth by expanding client relationships, enhancing market visibility, and executing strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include developing BD plans, leading practice meetings, identifying opportunities, supporting lateral integration, and managing client targeting programs. The role oversees pitches and proposals, maintains marketing collateral, and manages events, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives. The Manager also collaborates with research teams to leverage market intelligence and serves as a mentor to junior BD staff.

 

Qualifications include at least 8 years of relevant experience in professional services BD or marketing, strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

 

Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week

Salary: $140,000-$200,000
