The Business Development Manager supports leadership in executing firmwide BD strategy, with a focus on operational delivery, CRM management, and client development initiatives. This role drives coordination of growth efforts, supports proposal development, and partners with legal and marketing teams to win new business and strengthen client relationships. T'he Manager will work with the close to 20 Partners in the IP Litigation practice.
Key responsibilities include managing and tracking BD opportunities in the CRM and matter databases; contributing to strategic BD plans aligned with firm and industry priorities; and delivering reporting and analysis on BD performance to inform decision-making. The Manager identifies process improvements, enhances efficiency, and applies data-driven insights to maximize opportunities and client retention.
Serving as a subject matter expert, the Manager provides strategic and commercial guidance to leadership and stakeholders. The role may lead projects or manage small teams across regions, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality execution.
Candidates should bring strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience leveraging BD tools and data to drive results. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Hybrid schedule: 4 days
Salary range: $160,000-$190,000
