Description


The Manager, Business Development (Litigation) will lead strategy and execution for the Firm’s litigation practice. Based in Washington, D.C. , this role partners with BD leadership, practice leaders, and partners to strengthen client relationships, drive new business, and support cross-practice and cross-border initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing BD plans; managing client pipelines and key accounts; identifying targets and market opportunities; and aligning marketing efforts with BD priorities. The Manager collaborates with Strategic Intelligence to deliver insights, tracks performance through KPIs, and monitors market trends and competitor activity. The role also oversees team operations, including project management, budgeting, performance management, and staff development.

 

Qualifications include strong project management, analytical, and communication skills; experience with CRM and marketing systems (e.g., Foundation); and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate leadership experience, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of seven years of business development experience, including management experience in a law firm or professional services setting.

 

Salary: $200,000-$220,000

Hybrid schedule: 3 days
