Description


The Business Development Manager will support the global Tax practice, partnering closely with practice leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives. This role focuses on executing business development plans, managing client pitches and RFPs, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and increase revenue.

 

The position also serves as a primary liaison to attorneys, supporting client development strategies, preparing for meetings, and conducting market and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities. The Manager will support cross-practice and cross-border initiatives, maintain key client relationships, and assist with integration of lateral and newly promoted partners.

 

In addition, the role plays a key part in marketing execution, including developing proposals and presentations, coordinating events, maintaining practice materials, and supporting communications efforts. The Manager will also mentor team members, manage budgets, track ROI, and advise lawyers on business development best practices.

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic, proactive professional with strong communication and project management skills, experience advising senior stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have at least seven years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment, including leadership experience.

 

Hybrid schedule: Three days onsite
Salary range: $170,000 - $185,000
