Our client, a leading Am Law 100, seeks a Discovery Manager who will be part of a dynamic group of e-discovery and litigation professionals. Your role will involve coordinating and executing early matter assessments and key workstreams, facilitating cross-team collaboration, and supporting department initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with clients, case teams, and vendors to define goals, manage timelines, and track progress.
- Identify, gather, and handle important documents, data, and information.
- Lead and coordinate discussions and activities with internal legal and IT teams and other staff.
- Aid in evaluating, engaging, and integrating vendors.
- Organize and monitor cost estimates and budgets for cases.
- Schedule, plan, and lead project kick-off and client status calls.
- Maintain a centralized tracker of action items and documentation.
- Help onboard new team members and support team initiatives and special projects to enhance internal processes and project workflows.
Requirements
- Candidates need at least ten years of experience in e-discovery project management at a law firm, vendor, or consultancy. Candidates with a JD or MBA are preferred but not required.
