The PM acts as a key liaison between legal teams, IT personnel, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient execution and delivery of eDiscovery workflows. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive oversight for multiple complex eDiscovery projects, serving as the primary client contact and ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality standards.

 

- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, IT teams, and third-party vendors to define workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance project efficiency.

 

- Manage client communications by delivering regular project updates, managing expectations, and escalating issues with proposed solutions as needed.

 

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and internal processes for data processing, review, and production; verify flawless delivery of productions.

 

- Mentor and support junior team members, including Junior Project Managers and Project Specialists, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

 

Technical Management:

- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client data, data collections, and associated workflows.

 

- Possess in-depth knowledge of litigation databases such as Relativity, processing, and review platforms.

 

- Advise on best practices for data collection, processing, analytics, and export deliverables.

 

- Generate and analyze metrics to improve project delivery and client satisfaction continually.

 

Business and Team Leadership:

- Cultivate strong client relationships through consultative service and proactive communication.

 

- Support business decision-making by understanding project profitability, resource utilization, and operational efficiencies.

 

- Lead team initiatives, providing training and mentoring to promote technical and procedural excellence.

 

- Model professional communication, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem-solving within cross-functional teams.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

 

- Minimum of 5 years of client-facing project management experience within legal technology, law firms, or consulting environments.

 

- Proven expertise in eDiscovery software (processing and hosting) and litigation lifecycle understanding.

 

- Certification in Relativity (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator) or similar platforms is highly valued.

 

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

- Strong organizational skills, project prioritization, and multitasking ability.

 

- Demonstrated leadership in training, mentoring, and managing teams.
