The Innovation Attorney & Practice Advisor is a core member of the Practice Innovation & Technology team, serving as a practice-embedded consultant who partners with attorneys to reimagine legal service delivery. This role bridges substantive legal practice with the transformative potential of AI and emerging technologies.
Reporting to the Director of Practice Innovation & Technology, the attorney will leverage BigLaw experience to identify workflow challenges, develop AI-enabled solutions, and drive adoption from pilot through implementation. The role partners with practice leaders and attorneys to analyze workflows, identify high-impact opportunities for AI and technology, lead working sessions, develop practical solutions, and drive change without positional authority. The attorney will lead AI pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives from use-case identification through evaluation and deployment, while collaborating with program, product, training, and knowledge teams to support adoption, training, tool configuration, and success measurement. The role also involves monitoring the GenAI landscape, evaluating emerging technologies, contributing to vendor and make-versus-buy decisions, and supporting client-facing discussions regarding AI-enabled legal service delivery.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a JD and 3–5 years of practice experience at an AmLaw 100 firm, along with strong consultative, communication, change-management, and GenAI skills.
