A global law firm is cointinuing to build its AI and Knowledge Management team. There are several opportunities within the department spanning mulple practice areas. This role is for a current practicing or former attorney who is interested in both transactional law and the growing use of AI in legal work. Based in any US office, the position focuses on helping lawyers work more efficiently by finding practical ways to use AI, automation, and other technology in their day-to-day work.
This person will work closely with lawyers, technology teams, and outside vendors to test new AI tools, improve legal workflows, and develop resources such as templates, playbooks, and guidance materials. They will also help train attorneys on new tools, gather feedback, and make sure technology solutions are useful, accurate, and aligned with current legal practices.
The role also involves maintaining legal knowledge resources and supporting attorneys by turning legal expertise into easy-to-use tools and processes that can be shared across the firm.
Candidates should have a law degree, be licensed to practice, and have 3–5 years of experience in practicing law. The ideal person enjoys solving problems, learning new technology, and working with others to improve the way legal work gets done. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are important, while experience with AI, process improvement, or even coding is a valuable bonus.
Salary range: $250,000-$300,000
