Description


The Cyber, Privacy & Technology practice is seeking a Partner with significant first-party incident response experience to advise organizations through ransomware attacks, business email compromises, vendor breaches, and other cybersecurity incidents. This role serves as lead outside counsel from initial response through regulatory resolution, working closely with cyber insurers, forensic investigators, and other vendors.

 

Responsibilities include leading incident response matters, managing breach notification obligations across U.S. and international jurisdictions, coordinating forensic, ransomware negotiation, public relations, and notification vendors, defending regulatory investigations involving the FTC, HHS-OCR, and state attorneys general, and developing client relationships with firm support.

 

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of incident response experience at an AmLaw 200, respected regional, or leading cyber boutique, along with knowledge of cyber insurance, regulatory investigations, and data privacy laws. Familiarity with AI-enabled legal technology is strongly preferred. Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPP/E are a plus. A minimum portable book of business of $350,000 is required.
