The Practice Manager (PM) will support the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the Appellate & Constitutional Law practice in partnership with practice and firm leadership. The PM will serve as a strategic business partner, coordinating initiatives across talent management, professional development, knowledge management, marketing, business development, recruiting, technology, and other business functions.
The PM will develop and execute strategic business plans and initiatives; support attorney talent management, recruiting, staffing, professional development, mentorship, and productivity; and develop practice-specific training, CLE programs, and career development initiatives. The PM will lead knowledge management efforts, maintain practice resources and legal updates, and partner with Marketing, Business Development, and Communications on client development, events, rankings, awards, and targeted opportunities. The role will also oversee practice meetings, data tracking, special projects, and process improvement while facilitating collaboration across offices, departments, and practice leadership.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of appellate and Supreme Court practice, constitutional and administrative law, and appellate advocacy, along with excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A J.D./LL.B. or equivalent graduate degree and 5–7+ years of relevant experience, including management experience, are required. Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
Salary range: $230,000-$280,000
