The Practice Group Manager supports practice leadership in managing operations, talent, and strategic initiatives across the group. This role serves as a central liaison across departments and offices, driving alignment on firm priorities and practice-specific goals.
Key responsibilities include supporting strategic planning, reporting, and meeting management; overseeing talent development, recruiting pipelines, and performance processes; and facilitating the firm’s free market system by aligning staffing and work opportunities. The Manager partners closely with marketing, business development, and communications teams on client initiatives, events, rankings, and outreach, while tracking key practice data such as pitches, targets, and staffing.
The role also collaborates cross-functionally with departments including Professional Development, HR, Diversity & Inclusion, and Knowledge Management to deliver training, CLE programs, and career development support. Additionally, the Manager identifies process improvements and drives execution across initiatives.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
