The Senior Business Development Manager will lead the firm’s global business development and marketing efforts for a top tier Antitrust and Competition practice. The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the firm’s Director for Business Development for Litigation and Investigations, antitrust practice group leaders and senior lawyers, and the broader Marketing and BD team to ensure effective business development, marketing strategy, and external communications programs. The right candidate must possess a strong background in working with senior attorney stakeholders, as well as fostering a collaborative environment across teams. The candidate will also have a deep understanding of global antitrust practice and to work with antitrust lawyers to plan and execute successful marketing and business development plans.
You will own business planning, guide senior stakeholders on actionable growth initiatives, and identify market opportunities across a dynamic global regulatory landscape. The role drives client development efforts from targeting and pitch strategy to RFP responses and client meetings while coordinating cross-office collaboration to deliver measurable results. You will also oversee thought leadership, events, and profile-raising initiatives, ensuring compelling market positioning through directories, awards, and content. In addition, you’ll mentor junior team members, elevate BD best practices, and support lateral integration and client relationship expansion.
Qualification:
7-10 years of law firm business development experience (preferrabaly supporting antitrust) or experience as an antitrust attorney.
