Description


In this role, you will work closely with practice leadership to design and execute business development strategies aligned with market opportunities and the firm’s competitive strengths. Serve as a strategic advisor to partners in a leading Financial Industry Group, shaping the direction of client development and driving sustained growth.

 

You will lead strategic planning efforts for the group, advising on priority sectors, key client expansion, and cross-practice collaboration. By synthesizing market intelligence, client insights, and financial data, you will guide partners in identifying high-value opportunities and making informed investment decisions. You’ll play a central role in developing annual plans, advising on go-to-market approaches, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable impact.

 

Acting as a trusted counselor, you will influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to complex business development decisions. While partnering with broader BD and marketing teams for execution, your focus remains on strategy, alignment, and results.

 

Qualifications:


7–10 years of business development experience in a law firm or professional services environment, with demonstrated success advising senior stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and business acumen required. JD and/or MBA preferred.
