The Senior Manager, Business Proposals (Transactional) leads and mentors the proposals team, overseeing the development of strategic pitches, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses for existing and prospective clients. This role serves as a key advisor to partners and business development professionals, ensuring the delivery of compelling, client-focused materials that support business growth.

 

Responsibilities include managing complex pitches and RFPs, writing and editing proposal content, developing pitch templates and best practices, and maintaining proposal-related knowledge resources and tracking systems. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with business development teams to ensure consistent messaging, efficient processes, and high-quality deliverables while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

 

The role also provides leadership in team development, performance management, departmental planning, budgeting, and operational oversight. Success requires strong project management skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment.

 

Qualifications

 

Candidates should possess excellent writing, editing, communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with demonstrated experience leading teams and managing high-profile proposal initiatives. A bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment are required.

 

Hybrid schedule: 3 days

Salary range: $235,000-$255,000
