The Associate Director of Practice Management – Private Equity – US will play a strategic and operational leadership role within the Corporate Department. This position works closely with practice group leadership to manage day-to-day operations, oversee attorney development, and support strategic growth initiatives across the practice.
Key responsibilities include driving the practice group’s strategic plan, managing workflow and staffing processes, and developing data-driven insights to improve productivity, headcount planning, and attorney engagement. The Associate Director will partner with teams across Business Development, Innovation, Knowledge Management, Recruiting, Finance, and Practice Management to align resources and advance firmwide initiatives.
The role also oversees talent management, including onboarding, integration, performance evaluations, professional development, and promotion processes. Additional responsibilities include designing training programs, maintaining practice resources, collaborating on legal technology solutions, and ensuring consistent communication across stakeholders.
Qualifications include a JD with 4+ years of business services or project management experience at a top law firm or professional services organization, strong understanding of corporate transactional practices, and proven leadership and project management skills. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, organized, and an effective communicator who can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range: $200,000-$240,000
