The Business Development Manager supports the firm’s Transactional practices, including Corporate, Global Projects, and Tax. This hybrid, full-time role partners closely with attorneys, firm leadership, and the Business Development team to advance strategic business development and marketing initiatives, including pitch materials and responses to Requests for Proposals.

 

Key responsibilities include implementing and tracking strategic business development plans; preparing pitches, RFPs, marketing materials, and thought leadership; supporting digital marketing initiatives; and overseeing business development efforts for select practices. The role also involves managing experience tracking, award submissions, client events, seminars, speaking opportunities, and conference sponsorships. Additional duties include maintaining digital marketing channels, coordinating internal communications, collaborating on competitive intelligence research, managing marketing collateral, and assisting with reporting, budgeting, and special projects.

 

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field and a minimum of five years of business development or marketing experience in a law firm or professional services environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with diverse stakeholders.

 

Hybrid schedule: Three days in office per week
