The Innovation Manager will lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of legal technology solutions that enhance service delivery across the firm. This role combines legal expertise with innovation, technology strategy, and operational excellence. The individual will work closely with attorneys, business professionals, and technical teams to drive change, optimize processes, and deliver scalable solutions for lawyers and clients.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an innovation roadmap aligned to strategic priorities. Identify and champion technology use cases that improve matter management, knowledge reuse, client collaboration, and deal execution. Partner with practice leaders to uncover needs and shape opportunities. Conduct workshops and process mapping to define requirements and success metrics. Evaluate and implement legal tech tools through market research, pilots, and ROI analysis. Lead solution rollouts, testing, and integration; partner with training teams on user adoption. Deliver workflow automation, data capture, and dashboards that support data-driven decisions. Manage vendor relationships, support escalations, and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards.
Qualifications
Law firm or legal experience (JD a plus). Familiarity with M&A, finance, or private equity. Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office per week.
Salary range: $150,000-$180,000
