The Marketing & Business Development Manager - Industries is new role added to the Industry Marketing team as the firm continues to grow the department. Reporting to the Director of Clients & Industries, this role serves as a key driver of go-to-market strategy across select priority industries, a central component of the firm’s strategic plan. The Marketing & Business Development Manager – Industries acts as a strategic advisor and business partner to industry teams, bringing strong market knowledge and leadership to support industry-specific growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
Partner with industry leaders to develop and execute tailored marketing and business development plans aligned with firmwide objectives.
Identify market opportunities, track KPIs, and provide data-driven insights to enhance client development and industry growth.
Coordinate client-focused programs, such as roundtables, webinars, and events, to deepen relationships and showcase industry expertise.
Develop industry collateral, pitch materials, and RFP responses to highlight capabilities and support client pursuits.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns, content creation, and thought leadership strategies across industries.
Manage sponsorships, conferences, and profile-raising opportunities; coach attorneys for speaking engagements.
Monitor market trends, regulatory issues, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Qualifications
8+ years in professional services (law firm, consultancy, or related), with strong skills in relationship building, project management, and strategic planning. College degree required; advanced degree a plus. Occasional travel.
